A LīMEN: IN-BETWEEN AND BEYOND: Pop Up Exhibition of Works by Yushan Jiang and Shuang Chen

15 - 16 June 2024

A līmen is a third place, a threshold, and a bridge between two realms. Through defining instability within stability, the līmen visualizes the invisible layer and reveals the underlying relationship between the two.

Yushan Jiang and Shuang Chen present their personal works as a pair; each fold representing a līmen between their distinct perspectives. While their drawings may originate from different contexts, they engage in a silent dialogue within the comparison, sparking a conversation that transcends individual pieces. Through their art, they invite viewers to explore the unseen connections and beyond.

Location: Abigail Ogilvy Gallery, 450 Harrison Avenue #29, Boston, MA 02118

Dates: Saturday, June 15 - Sunday, June 16, 2024
